Giving

In our public services we receive an offering as an act of worship (Mal. 3:10, 1 Cor. 16:1). With the advent of digital commerce many now handle all significant financial transactions electronically. We have provided the link below for that purpose. We encourage those using it to do so thoughtfully and when offerings are taken during worship to consecrate their giving to the Lord.

Scripture clearly shows us both the responsibilities and the blessings of the act of giving. We are to give from a cheerful heart (2 Cor. 9:7) in proportion to what we have received from God’s hand. All that we have has come from God and has been given to us for stewardship and accomplishing good. Your financial tithes and gifts are used to support the operations of the church.

In addition to regular tithes and offerings collected in morning worship, we also take up a Deacons’ Offering in the evening service. This offering is used by the Deacons to minister to members and friends of Redeemer in times of urgent material need. These gifts are sometimes also used as a witnessing ministry to assist others in crisis outside our immediate congregation, such as within our denomination, or even victims nationally or internationally who are experiencing floods, hurricanes, or other major disasters.

As we journey together, we look forward to a day when we will be able to worship in our own facility, instead of utilizing rented space. To that end, our church has established a building fund, which is available as an additional opportunity to contribute, beyond our regular tithes and giving.
