"God sent forth His Son"

Series Topical Sermons

Across the Old Testament God made a promise: "I will be your God, and you will be my people." In the fullness of time, with the incarnation, when God sent His Son, born of a woman, born under the law, that promise is secured. Believers receive the freedom of adoption, no longer living in fear or condemnation but as heirs with Christ. We are enabled to cry out "Abba, Father," signifying an intimate relationship with God, rooted not in legalism or fear but in love and grace.
